Can you have a virus with diarrhea only. my stomach is upset, and when i eat toast or soup, i am running to the bathroom, advise?

Possibly: Loose nonbloody diarrhea could be a virus or a food allergy. Try avoiding dairy, fried, spicy foods and drink fluids. If persisting more or close to a week please see your doctor.

You can: It's possible that you have a viral enteritis, as in a virus creating inflammation of your lower gastrointestinal tract, which may mostly manifest with diarrhea. You should make sure you remain hydrated, and focus on a BRAT diet(bananas, rice, apple sauce, and toast - you can add in boiled chicken too). If you have having trouble staying hydrated or severe abdominal pain, seek a formal evaluation
