Not normal: Best to check in with your surgical team. Make a POST OPERATIVE appointment and take a friend/family with you to discuss the numbness. It should resolve and this is not considered normal. Be well.

See your surgeon: It may be normal if you JUST had surgery (same day). If the numbness has persisted longer than 24 hours after surgery, then you should see your surgeon.
