Go to the ER.: Shortness of breath can have many causes, including pneumonia and blood clots. Please go to the ER right away. Do not drive, call 911! They can give you oxygen if you need it. Take care and good luck!

See a provider: If you are really having a hard time breathing, you should be evaluated by a healthcare provider. You need to have your oxygen saturation and respiratory rate checked at least. It may be something such as anxiety causing the problems, but it could be something related to your heart, lungs, or circulatory system causing problems as well. You need to see a provider who can do a physical exam.
