Sleep problems: Not wanting to go to sleep can be normal in a toddler who doesn't want to miss anything, but the waking up is not. Is your toddler having night terrors? Snoring? Is there activity in the house with lights on and noise that could account for the awakenings? Please see the child's pediatrician to discuss the problem. Some children suffer from sleep apnea, important to rule out.
