Neurologic: This symptom is likely neurologic. Carpal tunnel syndrome will often present this way. May need to see your doctor for further evaluation and treatment.

Get a medical exam: Numbness in the hand is usually caused by nerve damage in the wrist, elbow or neck. A medical exam is needed to sort it out.
