It depends: Masturbation is a natural thing. There is nothing wrong with it if it feels good for you, and it does not prevent you from doing other things. Use good judgment about where and when you do it. It is not the same as a sexual relationship with another person, though. With masturbation, your focus is on yourself. With sexual intercourse, it is best if you are also focused on your partner's pleasure.

It is natural and is: Part of normal sexual health. And for prostate health, ejaculation from masturbation, nocturnal emissions or intercourse is all protective against prostate cancer. But remember there can always be too much of a "good" thing and the same is true of masturbation. When it prevents you from participating in other aspects of your life or foster other relationships, it's time to revisit this issue.
