hi i have been coughing so much to the point where i throw up. and now my rib cage feels as if it's tight when standing and hurts. a lot of discomfort?

Cough / chest pain: A lot of coughing can cause strain of your rib cage. If you are in a lot of discomfort it is time to see your doc to consider a chest XR to explain your cough or maybe some meds to help your pain and suppress your cough.
