Not necessarily: Is 3.4 your lymphocyte or your total white blood cell count? If its total white blood cell, 3.4 is a bit low but if you feel fine and everything else on your blood tests is normal I wouldn't worry about it. Take another blood test in a few months to see if it is stable, improving, or getting worse. If that's only lymphocyte the same thing applies, you may have had a virus, recheck in a few months.

A bit unclear: Do you mean your white blood cell count(WBC) is 3.4 or absolute lymphocyte count is 3.4 If the latter, that's in the normal range. If the former, then it matters what the break down of the different types of white blood cells(neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils, etc) are and also if you have had normal WBCs in the past or if it's always on the low side. Hard to say otherwise.
