Xanthopsia: or seeing yellow hues or spots is a common side effect of certain drugs, mainly diuretics or digoxin. VanGogh may have had this condition. Anti-diabetic drugs will not cause this however. If he is not taking diuretics and this persists, he should see an eye doctor for an evaluation. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
