Prenatal vitamins!: I presume you are asking about when your doctor removed your contraceptive hormonal implant. Usually this occurs because a woman is considering pregnancy. It is very important for a woman to take folic acid supplements before she gets pregnant in order to prevent a birth defect of the spinal cord in the baby (neural tube defects). Prenatal vitamins are a good idea in this situation as well.
