A member asked:

If you have irregular periods that sometimes don't come within 4-5 months, do you still release an egg?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: While ovulation in women with regular cycles occurs 12 - 14 times over the course of a year, women who only occasionally have a menstrual period still can ovulate - for them, there is just no way to tell.
