My 6th month baby has b.o under his arm pit. what can this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be normal: First, is there any white sticky discharge around the armpit? Or does the skin of the armpit look red and sore and peeling? If so it could be a fungal or bacterial infection and you need to take the baby to the doctor. If the skin looks normal and is just smelly this can be normal. Just wash the baby with plain water daily and use soap 2-3 times per week.
