A member asked:

I have low platelet counts and bleeding in gums is evident, what can i take to slow this down or even stop the bleeding?

Visit in order: The only thing I can come up with is a call and visit to your physician. Low platelets (thrombocytopenia) may be due to many causes, but if you have gum or gingival bleeding you need to see your MD and your dentist. In that order.
