Tinnitus: Great question. Depends on the source. The neck can cause ear noises as well as the jaw. Caffeine, stress, chocolate, ibuprofen and aspirin may as well. See and ENT to check it out

I've got tinnitus in my left ear. When I jump my left ear pops but when I touch/squeeze my left sternocleidomastoid muscle the popping stops and I feel I can breathe easier. Could this be linked to my tinnitus? If so what treatment is recommended?
