You should be OK : As long as you don't develop a fever, abdominal, flank or back pain, you're good to go. Stay aggressively well hydrated & don't take acetaminophen or ibuprofen since they mask fevers. Try some unsweetened cranberry juice. Clean genitals thoroughly with soap & water, pat dry with fresh paper towel or washcloth & wear cotton-only undies. Try Pyridium (phenazopyridine) for pain; just know it turns pee bright orange.

No..definitely not: Many different types of microbes can cause UTI in a women. It could be yeast, many different types of bacteria, or even parasites like Trichomonas vaginalis. As long as your not having fever and chills, back pain, blood in your urine...I think you'll be ok to wait 1 more day. Going to the ER is fine....but its costly..you'll have a large copay I'm sure and maybe billed after the fact.
