Thanks dr mahnensmith for fast response did not mention that i starter on klonopin (clonazepam) .5 daily read that medication also can rise ggt levels is this true?

Klonopin (clonazepam) & liver: Klonopin (clonazepam) can elevate liver enzymes. The incidence is low. It is more likely to elevate ALT and AST than GGT but it can elevate GGT alone. So, the presence of klonopin (clonazepam) is a second variable to consider. If you can, and with discussion with your doc, try to wean slowly to off and then see if GGT comes down. Wean is important if you decide to try.
