Remember to get up s: Sounds like you had an episode of orthostatic presyncope. When we maintain a position of sitting/ laying for a period of time, our body gets used to a certain blood pressure. When we then stand up, the blood rushes down to our feet with decreased blood flow to the brain. If we get up too quickly, the vessels have not had time to constrict and we get dizzy or faint. Rising slowly should help.
