Many diseases: Itching of the anus has many causes: hemorrhoids, excessive cleaning habits, anal warts, anal cancer, dermatitis and allergic reactions, fecal incontinence, food related (from spicy food, soda, chocolate), and many other diseases. If your symptoms persist, you should see a colorectal surgeon to examine the anus and if there is any lesion it may need biopsy or other treatments.
