A member asked:

Can a doctor know if your fallopian tubes are inflamed just by using their fingers??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: A pelvic exam which does not show cervical motion tenderness rules out inflammation of the Fallopian tubes. If there is tenderness it is most often but not always due to inflammation of the tubes. Hope this helps.
