Unlikely: Birth control pills do not directly afftect kidney function. However, they may cause an increase in blood pressure and poorly controlled hypertension is one of the leading causes of chronic kidney injury. Both uncontrolled hypertension and obesity have been linked to the spillage of protein in the urine. If you have diabetes as well, this certainly can also cause long-term kidney injury.

No: Oral contraceptice drugs likely do not have any direct adverse effect on kidney disease. However, they can lead to higher blood pressures, which can worsen preexisting kidney disease. Since pregnancy can lead to progression of kidney disease, contraceptive therapy of some form would be advised.
