Normal: It is normal for it to take awhile to resume periods after Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) and you usually go from no bleeding to irregular bleeding and spotting before regular periods resume. Beware, however, you can ovulate and conceive before you have a regular period so do use caution. Hope this helps.
