I have taken one dose of my depo shot and it was december 1st. ever since then when me and my boyfriend have sex, we notice a bit of blood after we finish. its concerning. my shot is due next month and ive been spotting more. should i be concerned?

Bleeding after sexual activity can be caused by irritation of an inflamed cervix, and is not the result of the "depo shot" for contraception. See your GYN physician for an exam, and he/she may cauterize or freeze the cervical area to stop the bleeding.
