Dentist: The condition of your teeth and gums needs to be assessed because dental problems can cause bad breath. Diet plays a role in bad breath too. Digestive problems also can cause halitosis (bad breath). Regular tooth brushing and flossing helps. Tobacco and alcohol affect breath negatively. Brush after all meals and snacks. Avoid drinks with sugar between meals as well.
