Is there any new info about costochondritis ? i was diagnosed with it and i find it weird nobody knows why it happens or anything.

Nothing new: There are many, many medical conditions that we can describe and treat but do not have a known cause. It just is. With costochondritis, because it is minor, treatable and doesn't cause long-term effects it is unlikely that much research will be devoted to it.
