Rectal bleed: rectal bleed can be from a serious underling problem such as colorectal cancer, specially if one is 50 year old or above or has family history of colorectal cancer; However blood per rectum can also be from simple hemorrhoid which is not as dreadful as colorectal cancer, or from inflammation of the colon, see doctor as soon as possible to evaluate this
