A member asked:

About 6 months ago my periods have became irregular. i will go 2 months without a period then have a period that last 3 weeks or longer. why is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely not ovulating: This is commonly because you are not ovulating regularly. This can be because of stress, changes in weight, diet, or exercise, medications, or diseases such as thyroid disease, insulin resistance/diabetes, or PCOS. You need to see your doctor to find out what the cause is in your case. Good luck.
