Can i have sugar in my urine and not be diabetic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

VERY rarely: Hi. But yes, it is possible, so so rare as to make me say no and be statistically correct. Easy to test...check your fasting BLOOD sugar (or glucose tolerance test or A1c). Not hard to tell if you're diabetic, and the diagnosis DOESN'T rely on urine glucose. At your age of 21, unless you're obese, it's most likely type 1. Good luck!
