ANTIDEPRESSANT: Cymbalta (duloxetine) is an antidepressant and you have to be cautious when you take an antidepressant and have Bipolar Disorder. Just keep in touch with your doctor and watch for signs of mania and not sleeping.

Agree w Dr Khalily: Although the Cymbalta can help during a depressive phase of Bipolar II Disorder - there is a risk that it might flip some patients in mania or hypomania.
