Left side of my tummy has a bulge like fat. near the belly button, i am guessing hernia or just fats?

Often hernia: Abdominal bulge on one side uncommon for lipoma. Most often one sees a paraumbilical hernia in.this location If one slowly compresses the area a hernia frequently prolapse into the abdomen. Fat does not bulge and has a universal soft feel when palpating it.
