Hives: Hives are transient and red and raised usually itchy . They disappear and can reappear. The cause can be very obvious or no easy cause noted .antihistamines and prednisone may be needed

VisualDX: Hi, it’s hard to say without a picture but there is a great app that may be able to help you get a diagnosis without being seen in person by a dermatologist.
