Is it possible that taking high doses of amino acid may affect your respiratory system,i.e. your lungs?

Not directly: L-cysteine is actually beneficial for lung problems, however most of the prudent articles I have read recommend taking a break from amino acid supplementation. That is like two months on one month off. The body can take it too much nitrogen and this can be harmful, although I am unaware of any specific connection between amino acid intake and lung problems.
