My sebaceous glands are over active. almost done fighting cold/flu. could it be immune system reaction, hormones or simply change in weather. male 42?

Can you explain?: If you're asking about adult acne, I'm glad you asked. This is something you simply need to manage. Don't try to understand what makes it flare -- nobody ever really figures it out. Use topical benzoyl peroxide and/or retinoic acid, whatever concentration you can stand 1-2x/day, on affected areas. If you're not clear in two weeks, ask your personal physician for help. Keep up for a few years.
