Unilateral hyperhydr: Unilateral = one side. Hyperhydrosis= excessive perspiring/sweating. What you are describing is quite unusual. Sweating is controlled by certain nerve fiber innervating the skin. It may be that the left side (no swearing) is the abnormal one. She may have had a small stroke. Whatever, she should have a good thorough checkup, certain blood test (incl thyroid and fasting bs). Then, neurologist.
