DEHP: There are numerous types of clear retainers, materials and labs that fabricate them. If you are concerned I suggest you ask the dentist who would be fabricating them for you to answer that question. He\she can contact the lab or manufacturer of the the material for a clarification on this issue. You can also request the MSDS information from the manufacturer.

Please stop worrying: The materials use to fabricate dental appliance have been vetted by the FDA. To my knowledge there has never been a case of harm to a patient from retainer materials, with the exception of those few people who are truly allergic to plastic. You have a greater risk of being struck by lightning than you do of being allergic to dental retainer materials.
