Prob not, but common: When you are 18 years of age, many things can cause a late period! Just the increased emotion of this time of life & new experiences (and, honestly, the anxiety associated with them!) can cause changes in your period. The perfect use failure rate of a male latex condom is 2% per year. It is quite reliable when used perfectly/always/correctly. The lowest failure rate is 0.05% with Implanon implant.
