See below: Severe abdominal pain requires a visit to the emergency room to see what is the cause. Don't attribute pain to "gas" as it may be something more serious. Gas doesn't get "trapped" in the intestinal tract unless there is a mechanical obstruction. I would recommend getting medical attention as soon as possible.
