Fight or Flight: Common physical symptoms of anxiety include: ◾Pounding heart. ◾Sweating. ◾Stomach upset or dizziness. ◾Frequent urination or diarrhea. ◾Shortness of breath. ◾Tremors and twitches. ◾Muscle tension. ◾Headaches. Anxiety usually leads to a sympathetic nervous system response (Fight or Flight) which often causes the above symptoms. Medication and other conditions should also be ruled out.
