Nevk pain in the middle/back of my head, light headaches and ear popping for over a week. ear popping most consistent symptom. any idea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neck pain: Likely arthritis in the neck (cervical spondylosis). Neck muscles that insert on the back of the skull become tense in an attempt to maintain good posture which leads to headaches. These headaches originate in the back of the head and migrate forward. Often the headaches worsen through the day. The popping noise are the facet joints of the cervical spine rubbing together and transmit to the ear.
