Dysgeusia: is a change in your sense of taste due to a variety of causes; from anxiety to dental problems and treatments. Dysgeusia is not very common. Fortunately, in most cases, the symptoms of dysgeusia last only temporarily and not life-threatening.

Coincidence??: More likely than not it is a coincidence however there are some tooth colored restorations and temporary materials that may lead to a bitter taste for a day or even two. If it persist please see your dentist or your ENT.

Give some time: If you still have the bitter taste after a few days, I would go back to the dentist.
