Most likely not: Although it is possible to get eye inflammation or even an eye infection from saliva it is quite rare. Systemic diseases are basically unheard of from this type of contamination. The tears in the eye have a salt content that is somewhat bactericidal and helps to prevent infections in circumstances like this. Rinse the eye if possible and watch for any signs of irritation. Good luck.
