Hard to know: Spotting in early pregnancy is common and not necessarily a sign of miscarriage. If you are only 4 weeks pregnant, the urine pregnancy test might not show up positive yet. It would be smart to go see your Family Physician for an exam and possibly an ultrasound when appropriate.
