Many: I presume he has already tried OTC antihistamine and decongestant without benefits. The next step would be an OTC nasal steroid. Daily saline irrigation of the nose may help. If none of these measures helped, then consult an allergist to pinpoint the allergy triggers and institute the appropriate treatment. You will be amazed at how much one's quality of life can improve with Rx.
