Sleep quality: mat be lacking. If you wake tired, have restless sleep (all over the bed) and snore, you may have sleep apnea or obstruction of air flow leading to poor quality sleep. You would benefit from a physical exam and a sleep study.

If your sleep is not: restorative, it is well-worth discussing the possible need for an overnight sleep study with your doctor. Take in a record of your desired bedtime, how long it takes you to fall asleep & what time you wake up & get up. If you're overweight, snore &/or have a family history of sleep apnea. it's important to know if you have sleep apnea or any other sleep disorder that could impact alertness.
