Bacteria multiplying: In bladder. Bacteria are present around urinary opening in women who get UTIs because of proximity to anus & bacteria from rectum. Most common cause of UTI in young women is sex, bacteria get "pumped up" into bladder, hence need to mt bladder after sex. Sealed labia when urinating hence need to separate thighs.Wrong wiping, thongs & synthetic undies, bubble bath, constipation, infrequent urination
