Need a workup: We can't settle this here. It may be something as straightforward as a problem with neutrophils adhering to endothelium, or adult-onset cystic fibrosis, or any of a few dozen other things I can think of. HealthTap isn't the place to sort it out, but there's an answer and it's your right to pursue a workup with a competent physician, even in our dysfunctional health care system.
