A member asked:

I had surgery in my right eye 3 months ago for retinal detachment. so why is my vision 20/200?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

MaculaI: If the retinal detachment spares the macula(the area responsible for central vision) you will get good return of vision. If the macula is also detached then good vision may not return,
