See your doc...: Heavy periods can be caused by many things such as fibroid tumors, adenomyosis, infection, problems with your blood's clotting system and many more. Some women have such heavy periods that they become anemic. The only way to know the reason in your specific case it for you to see an Ob/Gyn. Best wishes!
