That's one cause: Dermatitis is inflammation of skin. Healing often involves natural peeling of dead skin. Physical factors (irritation from friction, heat, sunlight, moisture), but also allergic or toxic exposure does the same. See an allergist for patch testing. Beware that some cancers also peel (basal cell, etc.). See a doctor. Chronic dermatitis (ezcema, psoriasis, etc.) can involve hands/fingers. See a doctor.
