HPT not perfect: Home pregnancy tests aren't perfect. For example, if you test too early, it may not tell you the truth. Also, if you have a problem pregnancy such as an ectopic pregnancy, a home pregnancy test may be negative while a blood pregnancy test would be positive. I wouldn't worry about it until you miss your period. Then re-test. Best wishes!

It depends.: It depends on where in your cycle you took the pregnancy test. It may be time to see your PCP or OB-Gyn specialist to rule out pregnancy and other causes if emptying your bladder doesn't change your symptoms.
