Stomach flu: Vomiting can be a one-time episode linked to something that doesn’t settle right in the stomach. The stomach flu usually is accompanied by vomiting, headache, loss of appetite and watery diarrhea. The condition generally resolves without treatment within 3-4 days. MRI is unnecessary.
